chronicles
There was nothing April-foolish about Farmer Wan's discovery yesterday of our first saffron crocus flowers (and not a pea-shoot in sight).
Having now officially harvested these little beauties, all we have to do is remove the orange stigmas (keeping them joined to each other at the bottom), dry them to the right standard and ship 'em off. We reckon these terrific specimens of the world's most expensive spice are probably worth 0.03cents. Viva saffron! Posted by Farmer Nik

I'm impressed at getting an F1 reference onto this blog. That's normally the sort of flagrant behaviour I'm known for. Props! (Does anyone still say that?)

Cheers, Kenny. Maybe you and your lovely missus would like to come over and help with the harvest next year... plenty of good food and liquid refreshment on offer!
